Parent Report of Child's Reaction to Stress

Description

The Parent Report of the Child’s Reaction to Stress is a 79-item parent-report instrument that assesses PTSD diagnostic criteria and symptom severity in children. It includes a space to describe the stressful event(s), 50 items assessing PTSD symptoms, and 29 items assessing associated symptoms. Items are rated in reference to the child’s reactions to the stressful event(s) on varying frequency scales (e.g., see sample items). A scoring system template is provided with the scale.
