This tape is for outpatient and inpatient medical practitioner who may have limited mental health experience in treating patients with PTSD. It is also intended for veterans benefits counselors and VA staff who wish to obtain more knowledge about PTSD and its impact on the American Indian and Alaska Native veteran. Will help staff recognize the cultural impact on the veteran and enable them to interact with the veteran in a manner that demonstrates respect for the cultural and social values, as well as the spiritual and emotional needs of those suffering from PTSD.
